Dolcetto d'Alba D.O.C. "Trevitis" 2023
Dolcetto d'Alba D.O.C. "Trevitis" 2023
Despite the name, Dolcetto (“little sweet one”) isn't actually sweet — it's a nod to the grape's naturally low acidity, which gives this Langhe red its soft, easygoing character instead. Solo Cru's “Trevitis” hand-picks this low-yield fruit from the hills around Alba, the same ground that grows Barbera and Nebbiolo, and bottles it dry. Piedmontese households have long poured Dolcetto young while Barolo and Barbaresco rested in the cellar — it's built for the table now, alongside charcuterie, cheese and a plate off the grill.
