Production Notes
Amaro Marzadro uses herbs collected by Attilio and Sabina Marzadro from Monte Baldo (2,218 metres ASL). Cape Aloe, Alpine Rhubarb, Greater Gentian, Chamomile, Fennel, Holy Thistle, Galega, and Yarrow cold macerate for 20-30 days, creating its unique red color and bitter, fresh flavor.
Marzadro
Marzadro Distillery, designed by Bolzano architects Walter Maurmayr and Günther Plaickner, blends stone, wood, and glass amidst lush vineyards. Its green roof of 60,000 lichen plants enhances aesthetics and energy efficiency. The distillery's orientation maximizes solar benefits, showcasing a deep commitment to sustainability and contemporary craftsmanship.
