Production Notes
Production Notes
- Grapes are hand-harvested early in the day to maintain stable sugar levels and enhance quality and acidity.
- They undergo 12 hours of maceration and alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks.
- Maturation lasts five months in these tanks at lower temperatures to prevent spontaneous malolactic fermentation.
- After bottling, the wine ages for an additional three months.
Azienda Agricola Dissegna
Lison-Pramaggiore, nestled in Eastern Veneto near the Adriatic and Venice, has enchanted since Roman times with its high-quality red wines crafted by Benedictine monks. The unique blend of calcium and clay soil bestows structure and freshness. During the Venetian Republic, these wines graced tables across Europe. Founded in 1925, Dissegna's organic vineyard, now tended by Antonio’s grandson Francesco, upholds millennial traditions with poetic dedication.
