Production Notes
- Grapes are hand-harvested during the early hours of the day with a double-selection
process (first in the vineyard and then in the cellar). - Following destemming and soft pressing, alcoholic fermentation occurs in wooden, 225-litre barriques inside a controlled temperature refrigerated room.
- The unfiltered wine elevates for 12 months in the same barrique on its lees (sediment).
- After bottling, the wine ages five additional months in the cellar.
Fattoria Teatina
Since the early sixties, the De Lutiis family has produced high-quality wines in the sunny hills of Abruzzo. Fattoria Teatina’s vines, growing in clay-rich soil, yield excellent grapes high in freshness and tannins. Pierluigi learned the "tendone" system, ensuring perfect ripening. Handcrafted processes and organic practices preserve the vineyard's health, creating unique and aromatic wines.
